Energy-efficiency intervention in collaboration with FederEsco and BancaProssima
BRIEF DESCRIPTION
Millennium ASD Sports Center, located in Castelnuovo di Porto (Rome) is composed of a pool covered by an air-dome during the winter season. Moreover, the Center includes a gym, SPA facilities, a restaurant, recreational areas, and areas used as guest quarters. The intervention focused on the wellness area (pools, gym) and involved the substitution of the crumbling air-dome with a high-energy-efficient one; substitution of heat generators in the areas and water around and in the pool; installation of a cogeneration unit; intervention on the efficiency of the electric system; installation of an energy monitoring system.

The implementation of the technological solutions within the project will allow:
Reduction of energy costs by approximately 50%
Increase of internal comfort in the both the pool area and the access rooms (gym/pool changing rooms)
Easier management of the plant
Reduction of maintenance costs
